AI training for small business teams, Sydney
Same tool, same seats.
Very different results.
AI training for small business teams in Sydney, on your team's real work. Your tools, your data rules, and a check-in a month later to see what stuck.

the problem
Why most AI training doesn't stick.
Awareness is free now.
Free TAFE courses and government-funded places are easy to find. Nobody needs to pay to learn what a prompt is.
The habit never forms.
People get excited for an hour, go back to their desk, and nothing changes. Two in three workers get little or no guidance on what to do with the time AI saves them.
BCG, AI at Work, 2026.
Nobody set it up first.
No shared context, no rules, no owner. So everyone starts from zero, every time.
three ways in
Pick the size that fits.
Every format runs on your tools, your data rules and a task from your team's real week.
90 minutes · up to 10 people
The short session
The same 90-minute AI working session, with your team in the room and a task from their real week. They leave with it half done.
Good for: teams with seats but no habit.
- A working helper per person
- A one-page cheat sheet for your tools
- A one-page plan and a price, if there's more worth doing
From $500 ex GST, up to 10 people
Half a day · the leadership team
The leadership half-day
Agree what AI is for here, who owns it, and the rules.
Good for: leaders who keep hearing "are we allowed to use this?"
- A one-page AI policy, using the government's published guidance as a starting point
- Three workflows to start with, each with an owner
- A plan for the rest of the team
Quoted to your team
6 to 8 weeks · the whole team
The embedded program
Three workflows owned in-house, with before and after numbers.
Good for: teams who tried AI and got uneven results.
- Tools set up so every chat starts with your context
- Groups for the keen, the curious and the not-yet
- Friday show-and-tell. Flops welcome.
Quoted to your team
Also on request: a one-day build workshop, where your team's ideas become working prototypes. Quoted.
how it runs
Real work. Your tools, your rules.
We talk to whoever runs the place
What the team does all week, what's already paid for, and what worries you.
Set-up and rules first
Shared context, connected tools and a one-page policy, so nobody starts from zero.
Hands-on, on real work
No slideware. Everyone works on a task from their own week.
A month later, what stuck?
We check the habits and the hours, and fix what didn't land.
who runs it
Nic leads the training.
I set it up and check what stuck.
Nic leads the training: the team sessions, the leadership half-day and the embedded program.
I sit on the operations side: the set-up, the data rules, the tools, and checking a month later whether the hours came back.

questions
Questions, answered.
What about our data?
We set the rules before anyone uploads anything: what's fine to share, what isn't, and which settings to switch on. Client details and anything personal stay out of AI tools until those rules are in place.
Is the short session the same as the AI working session?
Yes, the same 90 minutes, from $500 ex GST. In the training version your whole team is in the room, and everyone works on a task from their own week. More on AI working sessions.
We have more than 10 people.
We run the session twice, or quote a version for the whole team.
Do we need to be technical?
No. If your team can write an email, they can do this. We pitch it at the least confident person in the room.
Which tools do you train on?
Whatever you already pay for. Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot are the usual ones. If you haven't picked one, we'll help you choose.
Can it run alongside a monthly pack?
Yes, and that's where it works best. The monthly rhythm checks what stuck and fixes what didn't. See the packs.
